International sports streaming service DAZN has signed a deal to become the exclusive global OTT partner of the European League of Football (ELF).
An eight-year agreement between DAZN and the American football property has been unveiled today, through which DAZN will become the sole destination where ELF fans can watch every game from the 16-team competition globally.
DAZN is set to launch an ELF Game Pass product which will sit as a standalone add-on channel within the overall DAZN platform.
Other add-on channels of this nature include NFL Game Pass, PGA Tour Pass, Courtside 1891 (FIBA basketball), and Rally TV.
ELF action will be available in over 200 markets, across various devices and distribution methods, and the league will “benefit from DAZN’s marketing expertise and innovative product development.”
As a result of this, the existing ELF direct-to-consumer product will be discontinued.

Zeljko Karajica, the ELF’s managing director, said: “With DAZN at our side, we can continue to drive forward our vision of establishing American football as an integral part of the European sports scene and popularising it worldwide. The combination of an innovative platform and enormous reach will allow us to bring the games and stories of the ELF to millions of fans around the world.”
Shay Segev, DAZN Group’s chief executive, added: “Our mission at DAZN is to offer the most attractive and diverse experience, and the ELF shares this ambition with its high-energy content. With this partnership, DAZN will create a global home for the ELF, reaching new audiences and growing the popularity of American football in Europe.”
The 2025 ELF season (the league’s fifth), is set to get underway in mid-May, with its 16 teams coming from nine countries.
In late November, the league secured new investment from Germany-based private equity firm D2D4.
D2D4, led by German energy entrepreneur Klaus Meier, purchased a 10% stake in the league.
With the investment, the ELF is still majority-owned by SEH Sports & Entertainment Holdings.
The league boasts seven German franchises and has been won three times out of its four editions by German teams, most recently Rhein Fire, which won back-to-back in 2023 and 2024.
