Justyna Regan has joined Hinshaw & Culbertson as a partner with the business and commercial transactions practice in Chicago, Ill., the firm said Monday.
Regan, who formerly practiced with Miller Canfield, advises companies and investors on starting businesses in the United States, which involves entity formation, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters, according to Hinshaw & Culbertson.
She provides counsel to companies on data privacy issues, particularly issues dealing with compliance with General Data Protection Regulation, as well as federal and state privacy laws in the US. She works with US and European companies on transactions and often serves as external general counsel, Hinshaw & Culbertson said.
