The lunar square to Neptune amplifies the concept of confirmation bias. It is most common for the questions we ask to bring about the answer we already believed. As validating as this may be to our psyches, it’s no way to get to the full truth. The truth is what comes when you let go of preconceived notions and go in with an open mind.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). You’ll be surprised by what reemerges. Business you thought you had handled is, apparently, unfinished and calling you back. Whether it’s an opportunity or a bother is up to you, and there’s no wrong answer. Play it how you feel it.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). The only thing more boring than saying nothing is saying everything. For this reason, you’ll listen more than you talk. Some small piece of information you once believed will be disproven, starting the great questioning of all.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Whatever you do, get on your own side about it. Self-judgment is unnecessary, unhelpful and, above all, inaccurate. The impact of your actions will be determined by others, and in time. Good intentions will eventually win out.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). You’ll make your move. You’ll create and send your expression out like a sailboat to the waves. It’s a risk, but that’s what makes it exciting. There’s nothing like the exhilaration of navigating in vast territory and being part of something much bigger than you.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Acceptance gives you control. It helps you get inside the moment so you can make it work for you. Climb into what’s happening, and put yourself in the driver’s seat, too, because it gives you much more power than, say, watching from the curb.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). The less invested you are in having one particular outcome, the more joy can come to you. Your open mind frees up more routes. Theoretically, joy could come at you from any and every angle. You could be immersed in it.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Uncharted territory invites you to dabble in the fine art of looking like you know what you’re doing. An attitude of confidence will serve you well, but not an attitude of arrogance, which can only block you from learning.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). A belief is like sheet music that orchestrates the world. Your belief will be sung back to you. Its music will resonate everywhere you go. The perceived world automatically organizes around your belief.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). We don’t get to choose the weather, but we can choose a coat, and that makes a huge difference in how comfortably we move around in it. There’s emotional weather coming up. You’ll suit up to navigate it with style.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Nothing has really been fully considered until its opposite side has also been examined. Life brings you a sense of satisfaction akin to flipping a pancake at the exact right moment and witnessing the golden underside.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You’ll finish what you started, but you won’t do it alone. You make the work look fun, and so you attract all kinds of help. A serendipitous encounter will help you navigate a labyrinth of choices.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Even if you knew the good you did today would be forgotten tomorrow, you would not change a thing about your schedule, which is structured around giving. You do good for its own sake, and because it imbues your moments with meaning.
TODAY’S BIRTHDAY (Feb. 6). Your cosmic birthday boon is radiance that reaches to new corners of the world. Your keen mind sharpens to a quest; you’ll explore new places, experience different cultures and pocket a prize you’ve long dreamed about. More highlights: Your interests will be forwarded by a clandestine alliance. A treatment or hobby will amp up your powers of attraction. Aries and Virgo adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 5, 16, 2, 28 and 13.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: The astral realm of Aquarius, home to many athletes, is associated with Ganymede, who served as the cupbearer in Olympus and was renowned for beauty, quickness, grace, strength and, well, hydration. Aquarian stars include Babe Ruth, who is among the greatest sports heroes of American culture and best baseball players of all time. The Baseball Hall of Fame inaugural member was born when the moon was in intuitive Cancer and Mars was in the bullishly strong realm of Taurus.
