Miami Dolphins say wide receiver Tyreek Hill was detained by police before being released prior to their season opener against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
After the incident, the 30-year-old made his way to the Hard Rock Stadium and will be available to play against the Jaguars.

“He has since been released.
“Several team-mates saw the incident and stopped to offer support. Tyreek and all other players involved have safely arrived to the stadium and will be available for today’s game.”
A video on ESPN showed Hill being laid on the ground and handcuffed by police.
His agent Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN, external that it was a “heartbreaking situation” but that Hill was OK and would play for the Dolphins.
He said: “How things escalated into the situation they were in – handcuffs and being held on the ground by police – is mind-boggling to me.
“I’m deeply concerned by that, very troubled. We will be looking into it.”
He added: “This is crazy, I’ve never seen anything like it.”
