Police have confirmed that Castlereagh Street and Templemore Avenue in east Belfast are closed in both directions at their junctions with the Castlereagh Road, due to a serious road traffic collision.
The closures are likely to remain in place for a number of hours. A PSNI spokesperson advised drivers to please seek an alternative route for your journey.
Gavin Robinson, DUP MP for the area, said: “There is a very serious road traffic collision at the junction of Castlereagh Road and Castlereagh Street with emergency services in attendance.
“Please avoid this area for the foreseeable future. Thoughts are with those caught up in the incident.”
