BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – St. Patrick’s Day was met with quite the party that included the Silver Sneakers program at Bowling Green Parks and Rec.
Several exercise groups attended the celebration, practicing their motto of fitness, fun and friends.
Members got in on some St. Patrick’s Day themed festivities while getting into shape.
Frank LaManna, a BGPR fitness and wellness supervisor, says the goal of the group is to exercise and have fun, meet some friends and enjoy the social aspects of fitness.
If you or anyone you know is interested in joining Silver Sneakers or another exercise class in these groups, you are welcome to reach out. While classes primarily serve the senior population, all ages are welcome.
