The NCAA March Madness is a coveted tournament that brings us stellar battles capable of arresting hearts. It is a tourney that has produced countless pros who have graced leagues like NBA but for a college fanbase, the emotions are far deeper than that, and only they know the weight of the emotions when their college plays. In another such weighted game, TCU takes on Arizona State.

Coached by Jamie Dixon, TCU managed to win 21 and lost 12 games. They had a 9-9 record in Big 12 MBB where they finished fifth. They averaged over 75 points a game and the bulk of their offense came from inside the three-point line as they were among the bottom side of the three-point shooting stats. Scoring-wise, Mike Mills led the way, scoring over 17 points a game and shooting almost 50%. Damion Baugh led the way in assists, dishing almost six a game. The team had a defensive rating of 95.5 which put them around top-10% teams.
Arizona made a huge turnaround during their First Four battle and defeated Nevada 98:73. DJ Horne scooped up 20 points and he nailed four triples. Desmond Cambridge had 17 points and 6 assists, Jamiya Neal had 16 off the bench whereas Davon Cambridge had 15 points. The Sun Devils had just five turnovers and this was by far their best performance in a while. For a team that struggled for much of the season on the offensive end, this was a dramatic turnaround. Arizona will enter the tourney with momentum and will love to make 11 triples again as they did in the last game.
Arizona discovered their offensive touch at the most opportune moment whereas the Horned Frogs play a tough brand of defense. I doubt that Arizona will get close to 100 despite having the momentum from the last game and I put their ceiling at 80 here but they may be limited to 75. I see a scoring range in the 140s with Horned Frogs edging out Arizona just by a bit.
