(Updated at 11:30 a.m.) A Citibank and a New York City-based American restaurant are coming to Clarendon.
Both businesses are slated to open in The Crossing Clarendon in several months, the shopping center’s general manager, EJ Enciso, told ARLnow.
The Citibank branch, scheduled to open its doors in the fourth quarter of this year, will be sliding into a 4,001-square-foot space previously occupied by an Orvis sporting goods store at 2879 Clarendon Blvd.
The bank currently has numerous ATMs in Arlington and a branch along N. Glebe Road in Ballston, in addition to several in the District.
The restaurant, meanwhile, is Westville, an eatery offering “casual American food” including sandwiches, salads, bowls and plates. It currently has eight locations, all in New York City, that are open for brunch, lunch and dinner.
Westville is on track to open early next year at 2800 Clarendon Blvd, in the former location of Jos. A. Bank, which closed in January.
“Something for everyone, every meal, every day,” its website says. A number of online reviews call it a go-to weekend brunch spot.
