American Golf is set to open a “new and improved” store in the Sweet Briar Retail Park on Friday following the closure of its former shop in Guardian Road.
Founded in 1978, American Golf is the UK’s largest golf retailer, with 85 stores and an online retail offering a selection of golf clubs, equipment, clothing and footwear.
The store opening will be celebrated with a VIP launch evening and local golfers of all abilities are encouraged to visit from 5pm.
The first 50 customers through the door will receive a goodie bag including the latest golf balls and accessories.

The evening will include drinks, snacks and competitions for the chance to win golf-related prizes.
