Daniel Jones said he is in a “good spot” with his rehab.

When asked about the Giants considering trading up for a quarterback last month during the NFL Draft, Jones said he is focused on what he can control. He added he expects to be healthy for training camp. The Giants did bring in Drew Lock this offseason who figures to add some competition to the quarterback room. It will be a big year for Jones to prove himself this season.

Nick Chubb (knee) ‘progressing nicely’ in recovery
Browns GM Andrew Berry said Nick Chubb is “progressing nicely” in his recovery from his knee injury.

Chubb is working his way back from an injury he suffered in Week 2 last season. Berry did say Chubb still has a “long way to go” but he does appear to be progressing in the right direction. His status will continue to be something to monitor into training camp.

Texans GM Nick Caserio said Tank Dell is improving after suffering a “minor” gunshot wound.

Dell suffered a minor wound after he was shot in Florida last week. He was released from the hospital. Dell is also working his way back from a fractured fibula that ended his season early last year.
